Divestment of centrally located office property in Malmö

Yield approximately 6.5 percent. The office property Flintrännan 1 in Malmö has changed hands. The property, located 300 meters from the central station at the intersection of Hans Michelsensgatan and Utställningsgatan, was constructed in the 1970's and comprises approximately 10,000 square meters of office premises and 350 garage spaces. Seller is the Widerström family. The purchase price was SEK 210 million, estimated yield 6.5 percent.

Catella acted as exclusive advisor to the seller. There were five interested investors, the highest bidder and final purchaser was a son in the Widerström family (Arne). The property is fully let, among larger tenants are The Swedish Maritime Administration, Moderaterna, Feelgood and TDC.
