Catella advised Rockspring in the sale of shopping centre Kompassi
Rockspring TransEuropean Limited Partnership III, a fund managed by Rockspring Property Investment Managers LLP, sold shopping centre Kompassi to Osuuskauppa Hämeenmaa, a co-operative of the S-Group. The S-Group is one of the leading Finnish retail companies.
Kompassi is located in the centre of Hollola and is almost fully let. The lettable area of the property totals approx. 5,800 sq m.
The buyer is planning to develop a shopping centre anchored by Prisma, the company's hypermarket brand, in the property. The development will require a change in the city's zoning plan, which will determine the final size of the shopping centre. The development is likely to take years to complete.
Rockspring TransEuropean Limited Partnership III is a pan-European fund established in 2004. The fund has invested in over 20 assets across Europe. Shopping centre Kompassi, along with shopping centre Chydenia I, which was sold in January, are the first divestments of the fund.
Catella advised Rockspring in the transaction.
