Transaction volume Q2 2010 in Finland slipped to under 300 million euro
Based on Catella's transaction market research, the commercial property transaction volume in Finland in Q2 2010 was less than 300 million euro, which is the lowest volume in several years. The volume halved compared to the transaction volume of the second quarter of the previous year. The major proportion of the volume was from transactions made outside the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. Foreign buyers accounted for 20 percent of the total volume. The biggest transaction was a shopping and service centre in Hyvinkää acquired by Mutual Pension Insurance Company Varma.
